Steps In Installing PCS Global Accounting Demo

1. Download the PCSGlobal.msi file
2. Run PCSGlobal.msi from the download directory.
3. The program will then guide you in installing the PCS Global Accounting demo in your disk drive.

Steps in Running PCS Global Accounting Demo

1. After installation, select the PCS Accounting shortcut from your Start - Programs Menu.
2. When first started, you will be prompted to select the database.  Select PCSAcctGDemo.mdb from the installation folder.
3. After initial dialogs concerning accounts setup, you will be prompted for User Name and Password.
4. To enter the program, type "Master" (without the quotes) for both the User Name and Password prompts (not case sensitive).
5. Because the sample data is dated in an earlier time period, you will want to go to the menu and run the Utilities/Update Account Balances command to fill in account balances for accounting periods between then and now. (Otherwise, some of the reports will show only zeroes.)
6. Follow the documentation to work through the program.

Troubleshooting Installation

• If you have problems running the program, you may need to install latest Microsoft ADO Data engine. This installation file is available at PC Skills website.
